This training simulation attempted to instruct the user on the correct isolation and maintenance of a Komatsu GS360 machine.
This was a relatively simple project, where the user had to go through a series of steps to correctly pass the assessment.
We designed a variety of VR interactions for this project, as we wanted to correctly portray the required elements of training. This included use of a virtual tablet, interacting with levels, buttons and rotors, turning keys, etc.
The 3D model of the Komatsu itself was quite complex, with a details rigging system created by our resident animator, Cameron Dadd. You can view this model on SketchFab here.
